I`m waiting for a full blown UK tour as I am yet to see them anyway, okay you can shoot me if you want! As it was in more recent years I picked up the entire back catalogue I like the Blackmore`s Night theme.
It`s been a while since I last saw Ritchie, so another encounter with the now gentle axeman would be very refreshing.
Just love Candice...lucky Ritchie. PowerKnight

Every other year is fine by me,as i'm convinced Ritchie would not entertain touring here annually.

At his age,and stage in life and career,i believe he should only venture on a UK tour if enthused to do so.

I say this as his 2001 UK tour was fantastic, but later tours seem to lack the same edge.

I've been a staunch RB fanatic for over 36 years, and seen him live in every guise throughout that time.To me he is truly remarkable as a guitarist and enigma, but in his 60's i have come to realistically accept that moments of magic will become sparser.

Nonetheless,to me he will always be numero uno.

I agree with the other 2 posts so far. I haven't seen them YET, but it doesn't affect how much I adore their music. If they toured every year it might make their shows less special. My dream anyway is to see them in a German castle for my 50th (oops-given away my age now!) Ritchie will stay tops for me whether he ever steps foot in Britain or not.

I was thinking only the other day how wonderful it would be to have Blackmore's Night play at one of our big castles. Warwick has the odd big name play there occasionally, you've got Berkeley Castle down in Gloucestershire where the Medieval Baebes have played before now, plus numerous others around the country. We've got the history, we need the maestro and his lovely wife to air their fantastic music around those old walls and bring it all to life if only for an evening!

I noticed on the BN Street Teams board that Kevin was asking for information about venues in the southwest, and I sent him info about various locations, including Berkeley Castle & several others. I hope it was because he was researching for concert venues! There are a large number of castles and parks in the region. Too bad the Minack Theatre is too small-what a spot for a BN concert!
